By downloading, installing, or using SnapSave (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Araf (“the Developer”) regarding your use of SnapSave.
SnapSave is a private, offline-first note-taking app. It lets you write notes, attach images and voice recordings, organise content into categories, and protect sensitive notes behind a PIN-secured Vault. SnapSave works entirely without an internet connection.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapSave is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from bugs or vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the App. In no event shall the Developer’s total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
All data you create within SnapSave — including notes, vault contents, images, voice recordings, and settings — is stored on your device. You are solely and fully responsible for the security, accuracy, and legality of your content. The Developer has no access to your data under any circumstances, encrypted or otherwise.
SnapSave works entirely offline and never transmits your content anywhere. The App makes no network requests of any kind during normal use — its typefaces are bundled inside the App itself, so nothing is fetched from the internet while you write. No note data leaves your device under any circumstances.
Vault notes are protected by a PIN you set. When you create that PIN, SnapSave generates a one-time recovery key and shows it to you once — save it somewhere safe. If you forget your PIN, that recovery key lets you set a new one without losing your private notes. If you lose both your PIN and your recovery key, vault contents cannot be recovered by you or by the Developer — there is no other way in, by design. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data also permanently and irreversibly deletes everything stored within it, vault or otherwise.
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use SnapSave for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include any right to sublicense or transfer the App to another party.
You may not: (a) copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (c) redistribute or resell the App or any part of it; (d) use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose; or (e) remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices within the App.
SnapSave is intended for users aged 7 and over. By using the App, you confirm you are at least 7 years old. If you are under 7, you must not use the App.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
The Developer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

SnapSave collects absolutely no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no email addresses, no user profiles, and no identifiers of any kind. The Developer has no knowledge of who uses the App.
Every piece of content you create — notes, voice recordings, images, vault entries, categories, and preferences — is stored on your own device using local storage. The App does not read from or write to any external system.
SnapSave makes no network requests. Its typefaces are bundled inside the App, so no external service is contacted at any point, and nothing you write is ever transmitted anywhere. SnapSave never sends your data to the Developer or to anyone else.
SnapSave contains zero analytics code, zero tracking scripts, zero cookies, zero telemetry, and zero third-party advertising SDKs. No usage data, crash reports, or behavioural data is collected at any point. The App is completely ad-free.
You have complete and total ownership of all data stored in SnapSave. You can export all your notes at any time as a JSON file from Settings. You can permanently delete all data using the Factory Reset option in Settings, which requires your vault PIN to confirm if one is set. Uninstalling the App or clearing app data also permanently removes everything.
Vault notes are encrypted on your device using a key that only your PIN — or the one-time recovery key shown to you at setup — can unlock. The Developer cannot decrypt your vault under any circumstances, because the Developer never receives your PIN, your recovery key, or your data.
SnapSave requests only two permissions, both used solely on your device:
Neither permission results in any data being transmitted or shared.
SnapSave is not directed at children under 7 and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here and in the App. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. Since no personal data is collected, no direct notification will be sent.
